HAVE YOU SPENT MONTHS MODDING YOUR CAR? WANT TO SHOW IT OFF TO THE WORLD? TELL AUTO TRADER ABOUT YOUR RAMPED UP RIDE

Calling all petrol heads! Is your car stylishly modified to the max? Have you turned a boring and average motor into a blinged up, sexy, racing machine? Is your metal now a fiery, head-turning maxed-out motor and worthy of being shown off to the nation?

If so, don't delay in entering a new national competition, 'Curves and Chrome' which has been launched by Auto Trader, the UK's largest motoring magazine and website to find the UK's ultimate customised and pimped cars!

Auto Trader is looking to find the Best Amateur Modified Car which will win £4,000 in cash and the Best Professional Modified Car which will win three weeks of advertising, with a full page advert, in their local Auto Trader magazine and two adverts in the bi-weekly Top Marques magazine - worth a wicked £4,264.

The maxed out motors will also be unveiled to the nation's press and public during The British International Motor Show at ExCeL, London from 18 - 30 July 2006. Both winning show cars will be on the Auto Trader stand for the duration of the Motor Show for all to admire!

Auto Trader's competition, 'Curves and Chrome', is looking for car nuts just like you! It will be judged by a panel of industry experts including TV presenter, Mike Brewer; Phil Leech of SQPlus; John Sootheran, Editor of Max Power; and Stuart Milne, Deputy Editor of www.autotrader.co.uk.

Stuart Milne , Deputy Editor of www.autotrader.co.uk comments: "As the largest motoring magazine and website in the UK, we reach huge numbers of motorists - many of who are looking for a car to modify. We have launched this national competition so we can showcase the best modified cars on the international stage of the 2006 British Motor Show. So tell us about your motor and you could be a winner!"

If you are a garage or a company that pimps up motors, or if you are a one man band who has maxed up your motor for the sheer love of it, log onto www.autotrader.co.uk/motorshow. Simply tell us about the make and model of your motor, what modifications you've made and how much they cost and whether you're an amateur or professional, plus a few other details. Get your thinking hats on too, because we want to know why you think your car is so special. The closing date for entries is the 30 May 2006.

You can also register your vote on which you think are the best and worst maxed motors on the website and see the leader board change. Which car will gain the respect of the nation? You decide!
